While those first two weeks are perfect for capturing your baby’s dreamy, sleepy moments, some families prefer waiting a bit longer for an "older" newborn session. This allows time for more interaction and sweet expressions—and gives you more time to heal and settle in. Whatever timing feels best for your family is the right choice.

I’ll share tips ahead of time to help prepare, including when to feed your baby to set the stage for a smooth session. Newborn sessions usually last about an hour and a half, but there’s no need to worry about the clock. With flexibility built into every session, we’ll follow your baby’s and other children’s lead, allowing time for feeding, soothing, or playful sibling moments. My focus is on creating a peaceful, loving atmosphere where your family can relax and truly enjoy these precious moments together.
